During this step of the analysis, the physical therapist will take your child to a large room with special lighting that makes it easy to see your child’s movement clearly and record it. The therapist will ask your child to walk and perform certain movements (i.e. running, arm motions, etc.)
Why do we videotape the session?
We videotape the session in order to provide a record of movement that can be reviewed at a later date by all of our specialists. This allows our team to observe your child walk over and over again in normal speed, slow motion, or one frame at a time.
