The Sports Medicine Program offers state-of-the-art clinics, labs and gyms for testing, diagnosing and treating all types of injuries and conditions that affect a young athlete’s sports performance.
Sports medicine clinic locations
Children's Hospital Colorado’s Sports Medicine-trained physicians are available to see athletes at several locations. Visit our list of locations to find one near you.
Center for gait and movement analysis
Our Center for Gait and Movement Analysis (CGMA), commonly called the “Gait Lab,” is the only center of its kind in our region. Within the lab, specialists use 3D motion-capture technology to analyze muscle activity and limb and body movement.
Using the most advanced computer and video technology, information from the CGMA helps us evaluate and improve performance for young athletes by seeing how they walk, run and move. Learn more about our Center for Gait and Movement Analysis.
Sports therapy gyms for rehabilitation
Our Sports Medicine Program has two physical therapy gyms within the community that offer young athletes rehabilitation services close to home. The gyms, located in Parker and at our North Campus in Broomfield, were designed specifically for sports-related rehabilitation with strength, agility, speed and endurance training equipment.
Each facility has uniquely trained physical therapists who specialize in sport-specific evaluation, treatment and guidance for appropriate and successful return to sport.
